This tool estimates the BS (Bharat Stage) emission standard from the registration year, checks the age rule (diesel 10+ years and petrol 15+ years are not allowed), and then also applies the current GRAP stage rules shown above. It covers private four-wheelers only — trucks and other goods vehicles follow separate rules (see the table below). Always verify with the official order before making legal or travel decisions.

| Stage III | 401–450 (Severe) | BS-III petrol and BS-IV diesel four-wheelers banned from plying in Delhi and NCR districts (per the schedule revised on 28 Sep 2026, this now also covers Sonipat and border areas of Ghaziabad, Faridabad and Gautam Buddha Nagar), except essential services. Non-electric / non-CNG / BS-VI diesel medium goods vehicles restricted, barring essential goods carriers. |
| Stage IV | 450+ (Severe+) | Entry of trucks into Delhi stopped, barring those carrying essential commodities or providing essential services. Diesel-run medium and heavy goods vehicles barred, except essential-goods carriers. State governments may impose additional local curbs including odd-even, at their discretion. |
